Baked Haddock With Brown Butter
Serving 2 people
INGREDIENTS
- 1lb of haddock fillets
- olive oil
- salt pepper, paprika & dried parsley
- 2 tablespoon butter
INSTRUCTIONS
For Fish:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Line a cookie sheet and lightly grease by drizzling olive oil over it.
- Place fish, on cookie sheet.
- Lightly drizzle olive oil on top of fish fillets.
- Season with a sprinkle of salt, pepper, paprika & parsley.
- Bake for 15 – 20 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Drizzle with brown butter and serve immediately. Enjoy
For Brown Butter
- Add 2 tablespoons butter to a saucepan.
- Over medium heat, melt butter and continually whisk butter.
- Butter will start to foam up, keeping whisking. You’ll notice little brown specks at the bottom of the pan. Remove from heat and continue to whisk for a few seconds.
- Let rest for a minute and use a metal spoon to drizzle over fish
